The importance of technology in language teaching
The
importance of technology in language teaching
Technology it’s been part of our life’s for
many years now, but in the last couple of years we had to adapt classrooms to a
completely technology perspective. Technology continues to grow in importance
as a tool to help teachers facilitate language teaching and help in many ways the
learners, the technology opens a whole new world of opportunities.
Technology can be one of the ways to create a
new, real and enjoyable time for language learners, one thing that I like the
most about these new tools that we been learning how to use to eventually teach
our classmates increase their language awareness and not only that, by making the
class more fun and interactive the students are going to be more excited and
they will have more interest about the class.
Technology also lets language learners gain
language skills because in many cases they are interacting a lot more, another
of the advantages that I see, is that these kind of tools can be used during
class and also outside the class, which is going to be very beneficial for the
students to keep practicing and to have a better achievement of the objective,
which of course is the learning of a second language.
I agree with your opinion. Excellent reflection. With the techonoly the students are going to find the class more interesting.
ResponderEliminarYes, technology is around us since a few year ago and it is going to continue by this path.
ResponderEliminarMariana, for sure technology is something that is and won't be restricted to being in class. Technology can help you take the listening and reading practice to your students' homes to have them practice the language much more.
